Welcome to Hillbilly Hams Amateur Radio Club
Hillbilly Hams Amateur Radio Club, a private hobby club was founded in the heart of Murphy, North Carolina, with a deep-rooted love for amateur radio. Our dedicated team of enthusiasts is committed to spreading the joy of global communications and fostering a sense of community among radio operators worldwide. With our experienced operators, we can help advise on obtaining your license, give you information on ham radio equipment, and help you to engage in on-air activities. We aim to inspire and connect individuals through the exciting world of amateur radio so that you can become an active member of the ham radio community.
We encourage operators to stay active in getting on the air whether it be in the field setting up a portable station or working stations out in the field from home. Supporting other operators is not only building their airtime experience but keeping your airtime alive and well and helping both operators gain confidence in their skills and abilities and training.
